  It's our first time here.. but without doubt not our last. All the staff here seem to enjoy what the do. And nothing is to much trouble. Relaxing and very enjoyable.

  National Trust courtesy. Good food. Lovely decor and setting. Pool is a walk in the rain from the house. Avoid Room 5 over the kitchen with a bump bump bump from the dishwasher.

  This is one of my favourite hotels in the U.K. In which I have hosted several extremely memorable events and in which I have stayed on numerous occasions. Refined, comfortable, elegance, in a very beautiful grand building and gardens. With staff and kitchens to match such high standards yet it remains a very relaxing therapeutic experience. I very highly recommend this bijou.
